Howdy! Due to DM after DM requesting something like this, I have finally put some time aside to get this whipped up. It's a tad barebones for people more familiar with large servers like PIPELINE, but it's my hope that keeping things a tad "tight" will allow for a calmer community than the ones I've run previously. I still need to take more time to finish things up, but I decided it'd be a good idea to soft-launch in order to gauge interest in a new community as well as poke around for some potential server staff.
#applications-and-considerations will be the channel for interested Moderators to verbally apply (I'm going to trend towards people I recognize) and bring people on case by case. In addition, regardless of whether you’re wanting a moderation role or not, please talk a bit about what you want from this server in that channel. All applications and considerations will be carefully read and will be key to the direction going forward. Worst case, I just close the place down and go back to what I've been doing. At the very least, y'all who wanted me to try one more time with the server can see how it’d actually go.
In regards to ongoing 1.0 news, I’m somewhat waiting for CIG to move beyond the point we were at a few months ago before doing much further in that specific direction. Every indication still appears that most, if not all of the previous information has been solid, with some confirmations now showing up. I have some stuff related to Squadron to the side, but it’s still ongoing due to some details on dealings. I’d rather have some I can properly point to alongside the story as “proof”, however all I have is witnesses. I want screenshots, or direct quotes from parties involved before moving on it.
